Finally the five years of construction works came to an end and now the temple would provide a house of worship to the growing population of Hindus in the country, Asian correspondent reported.
A ritual named Prana Pratishtha – which is believed to infuse life and bring divinity and spiritually into the temple – will be conducted from November 24 to 30. Sri Durga arts, cultural and education centre committee member Gurpreet Verma said he was excited the project was coming to fruition.

“The temple serves as an important accomplishment to pass on Hindu spirituality, concepts and traditions to coming generations,” said Rajan Zed, president of the Nevada-based Universal Society of Hinduism.
The temple will serve as a non-profit organisation to undertake charitable activities as proposed by the management of the Sri Durga Temple.
