Indian Culinary Forum is an association of Professional chefs of Northern India. They in association with Indian Federation of Culinary Association organized a gala dinner for WACS Board members on September 27, at a restaurant in Garden of Five senses. The World Association of Chefs’ Societies (WACS) is a global network of chefs associations based in Sorbonne, Paris. The member of WACS was in India for their board meeting.
The host of the event from Indian Culinary Forum includes Chef Davinder Kuma, Vivek Saggar, Chef Shaju Zacharia, Chef Gill, Chef Vinod Bhatti, Chef Arvind Rai, Chef Mahendra Khariya, Chef Bharat Alagh, Chef Prem Ram, Chef Rajesh Variyath, and Chef Atul Shankar Mishra.
The members present in the event were Charles Carroll (President, WACS), John Sloane(Vice President, WACS) secretary general Helgi Einnarson, office manager Ragnar Fridriksson and the Continental directors Dragan Unic (Europe North), Domenico Maggi (Europe South), Murray Dick (Pacific Rim), Miroslav Kubec (Europe Central), Rick Stephen (Asia) and Thomas Gugler (Africa & Saudi Arabia).
Indian Culinary Forum: The Indian Culinary Forum is the India’s association of Professional chefs of Northern India. It was formed in New Delhi in 1987 as an exclusive non-profit-making organization, Dedicated solely to the advancement of the culinary art of India.
The Forum’s objective is to act as a link, platform, useful and necessary instrument for the national community of chefs. The World Association of Cooks Societies (WACS) is a 93-nation fellowship comprising the world’s various professional chefs’ organization. The ICF, has an international culinary focus and staging of its various competitions, seminars and events.
