New Delhi, 21st Sept: Google has confirmed that it’s going to conduct a press event on September 29th to show off some new products. However, the dongle will be available in three colours options; and will also come with the “Fast Play” capability for establishing a quicker connection and for a smoother play of content when users are casting from their device. According to reports the company may also show off the second-generation Chromecast at this event.
It is further said that that users will be able to set up multiple Chromecast Audio units to speakers throughout their home or office and then have them play music in perfect sync. Chromecast users have had to make do with Google Play Music, but apparently we could soon see the vastly more popular rival music platform blasting out of your TV speakers too.
The audio features would pair nicely with rumored support for Spotify, which has been a major holdout for Google’s Chromecast and Cast for Audio. The standalone Chromecast Audio device is expected to be formally unveiled on September 29th at Google’s event in San Francisco.
